What a busy month!!!

We have had one busy summer. In July we went to the Barton family reunion. It was on Uncle Gary's turkey farm. We went on a hay ride, my uncle Bryan and other cousins wrestled a greased pig and i even got to hold a baby turkey. They were almost as cute as I am. To finish off the day we swam in Palisades. Daddy jumped off of a big rock then we had a big turkey dinner. Great food.
Also in July we went to Arizona to visit Uncle Bryan and Aunt Debbie and cousins. That was great. I got to go to my first Pro baseball game. The Dodgers (whatever that is) beat the Snakes. They also had fireworks there. They look like big flowers in the sky. Pretty. We had fun swimming a lot too. I got to swim in the pool, lake powell and we even went to a water park. That was especially nice because it was 118 degrees out side when we got there. It was fun to see the cousins and play with them. We finished off the Arizona trip with a big dinner at Famous Daves. More great food.
At the first of this month we went to the Trejo Family Reunion up by Navajo Lake. That was great. I love camping. Mommy, Daddy and I slept in a tent. I saw some deer and some cows. Mom kept trying to keep me clean but finally gave up cuz i love the dirt!!! We ate our meals from these big black pot things, umm it was some good cookin. It was great spending time with cousins and family.
As if we hadn't had enough of the outdoors, we all went to Moab with Grandma and Grandpa Barton and daddy's brothers and sisters. We had fun sitting around the campfire and talking. We went on little hikes. Daddy, Bryan, Weston and grandpa went and road bikes on the slick rock trail. Daddy and Grandpa were to fat and couldn't finish. Daddy even crashed once. Bryan and Weston went a little further but bryans chain broke and they had to turn around too. Mommy and Daddy took me for a bike ride too. I got to ride in a buggy behind Daddy. That was fun. If you havent noticed, i love swimming. So its probably no surprise we found a swimming hole in the Colorado river. Grandma and I stayed in camp while everyone else went on a hike. They got lost and were gone for like four hours but they claim they knew where they were the whole time.
After we got back from Moab we went up to Lehi. Uncle Bryan talked in church on sunday and we got to play with him for a few days before he went in the missionary school. He is going to be gone for two years. I think thats a long time. I will miss him. It was fun hanging out with Grannie Annie and Grandpa and the kids. We miss them cuz we live a long way away.
Well, thats what we have been up to this summer. In my next post i will tell you how mommy is doing with my new little brother or sister in her tummy. Im going to be a big sister and im so excited!!!!
