Treyson Leroy Barton

Well, Yesterday my Mommy went to the hospital to have my baby brother. The morning started off bright and early. Mom and Dad dropped me off at Grandma Linda's house. I wasn't really happy about staying there but I did good once Mom and Dad left.

Mom and Dad got checked in at the hospital and headed down to the delivery room. The nurse got mom all hooked up to the monitors and started her IV...as you can see...her most favorite part. They noticed that she was contracting very well on her own. Mom was dialated to a 6 and so they decided not to start the pitocin. After an hour they checked her again and she was still at a 6. So at 10:00 a.m. they decided to start the pitocin. And it started to do its job immediately. Contractions started to get stronger and and more frequent. By 11:00 a.m. mom was just about to her end. She was hurting so bad. She kept saying that she didn't know if she could do it any longer without an epidural. The nurse decided to check her again, and said that she was at a 10 and ready to go. So they called Dr. Brown. He got there checked things out. At 11:15 a.m. he broke Mom's water and then left to change his clothes. Mom really didn't think she would be able to wait for him to get back, she wanted to push so bad. Well, Dr. Brown got back quickly and in 2 good 10 second pushes, his head came out. Dad got to be down there to deliver him. On the next push, out came his shoulders and the rest of him just slid on out. So, at 11:25 a.m. Treyson Leroy Barton made his entry into the world.

Treyson weighed in at 8 lbs 10.5 oz and measured 21 1/2 inches.

Mom is so relieved to finally have her baby boy here. And Dad is so excited to have his baby boy.

As for me... I LOVE MY BABY TREY!!! The first thing i did when I got in the room was crawl up in bed with mom and say "Me happy now!" I was so happy to see my mom and dad and Baby Trey. I love to hold him and kiss him.

Thanks Unkie Bear and Aunt JoJo for being there to watch me while Baby trey was being born. You guys are the greatest and I love hanging out with you.

We are so glad to have our Baby Boy here with us. Thanks to everyone that has been to visit so far and we can't wait to see the rest of our family when they get here!!
